Carpenter Arrested for Failure to Appear

Following a felony indictment in September 2022 for Grand Larceny and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, April Dawn Carpenter was arrested November 27th, 2022 on a capias for failure to appear. She is currently being held in the West Virginia Central Regional Jail without bond.

CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice has declared a State of Emergency for all of West Virginia’s 55 counties due to impacts from today’s heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. As the weather system makes its way through the state, creeks and streams have spilled over and roads are closed in numerous counties due to high water and mudslides.  Read More…
