Issac Grounds was sentenced to an indeterminate term of not less than one (1) nor more than five (5) years in the penitentiary upon his conviction for Fleeing in a Vehicle with Reckless Indifference.
Dennis Wayne Bailey was sentenced to an indeterminate term of incarceration in the penitentiary for not less than one (1) nor more than five (5) years upon his conviction for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender and a determinate term of incarceration in the penitentiary for five (5) years upon his conviction for Escape. These sentences were ordered to run concurrent to one another but consecutive to a sentence the defendant is presently serving out of Roane County.
Michael Skiles pleaded guilty to one (1) count of Burglary and one (1) count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Sentencing at a later date.
Jason Bradley Smith appeared via Microsoft Teams with Attorney Daniel Minardi. Case continued until April 11, 2023 at 9 a.m. Time needed to consider possible competency and criminal issues.
Multiple Cases were continued this week due to the trial of George Nicholas Parsons taking precedence over less timelier issues.
