GLENVILLE, WV – Glenville State University’s Department of Business is currently accepting nominations for individuals to be considered for induction into its Business Hall of Fame.
The Business Hall of Fame at Glenville State University honors outstanding leaders and visionaries who have made significant contributions to the business world. Additionally, it aims to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and business acumen. This initiative celebrates the successes and achievements of business leaders whose work has positively impacted industries, economies, and societies.
Nominees should be Glenville State alumni who graduated at least 10 years ago and who have distinguished themselves in the business world. Nongraduates who have a proven record of service to Glenville State University and the Department of Business may be considered for the Meritorious Service category. Glenville State University’s Department of Business welcomes nominations from all sectors, including technology, finance, healthcare, retail, and more.

The nomination period will remain open until Saturday, August 19, 2023. A selection committee comprised of former inductees, community members, and campus members, and Department of Business faculty will review and evaluate the nominations. Eligible candidates will be assessed based on their leadership qualities, long-term impact, innovation, and overall contribution to the business world.
The second class of inductees into the Glenville State University Business Hall of Fame will be honored during a banquet on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
