Could you imagine street lamps at Christmas in our county seat for the parade and festivities?
The 1982 Foundation will put up the first 10 if they can get other individuals, churches, and businesses to pledge the others. Each one is approximately $1000 and an estimate to do the bridge and town shows the need of about 40. The exact model is yet to be selected and approved by the town.
With the Facebook Campaign that has already begun, the Foundation has received commitments for 18 and hoping for more. If you’d be willing to purchase one or more of the lamp posts, please contact Crystal Mersh or one of the others on the 82 foundation.
