Several Roane County 4-H member recently participated in the virtual state 4-H presentation contest. They had to qualify at the Roane County 4-H County Round-up by scoring a 90 or above to advance to the state level. Below are the blue and red state winners:

Certificates and ribbons will be presented at the 4-H Day at the State Fair of West Virginia, which is scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2024. For those winners and anyone who was sent on to the state contest for their presentation or public speech, they can register and will receive a discount code for a gate admission and ride ticket to participate in this event for free!
