Betty Jo Parsons, 72, of Trace Fork, WV, departed this earth and went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 18, 2024, at Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown, WV.
She was born October 14, 1951, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd Andy and Leona Ruth Bell Jones.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Virginia R. Parsons and Nellie J. Moss and brothers Roger Jones and Robert Bell.
Betty attended the Nobe Church of Five Forks, WV for several years and will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Holley H. Parsons of Nobe, WV; two daughters Cathy D. Parsons (Gary Ferrell) of Big Springs, WV, and Sharon S. Parsons Sperry (Dale) of Trace Fork, WV; and one grandson Hunter Jo Parsons Ferrell of Harrisville, WV; sisters Bertha J. Jones of Brohard, WV, Irene S. Fox of Tanner, WV, Barbara E. Gray of Summersville, WV, and Terry B. Boggs of Chloe, WV; brothers Floyd A. Jones and Freddie D. K. Jones of both of Brohard, WV, Willie R. Jones of Grantsville, WV, Jerry L. Jones of Glenville, WV, and David G. Jones of Annamoriah, WV, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Nobe Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
