Randall Dean Dawson, 59, of Millstone, WV, passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2024 following a tragic accident.
He was born on January 25, 1965, in Grantsville, WV, to Lanny and the late Nina (Ford) Dawson.
He was a 1983 graduate of Calhoun County High School and worked as a Foreman for Houchin Construction for many years. Randall truly lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed working in the garage on projects both for himself and for family and friends. He was a devoted father and grandfather; his greatest joy was spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Anyone with whom Randall encountered is sure to have fond memories and stories to share.
Randall leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Courtney Chantel Dawson of Spencer, WV and Mackenzie Cheyenne Holbert (Dylan Anderson) of Orma, WV; two grandsons, Carter Dean Dawson of Spencer, WV and Jameson Bo Anderson of Orma, WV; father, Lanny Dawson of Millstone, WV; sister, Christina Dawson of Big Bend; two brothers, Dennis Dawson (Schon) of Hurricane, WV and Danny Dawson of Shock, WV; as well as nieces, nephews and other loved ones. He is also survived by the mothers of his daughters, Shelia (James Kendall) and Lori (Brian Wagoner).
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cecil & Della Dawson; maternal grandparents, Alfred & Ollie Ford; mother, Nina (Ford) Dawson; sister, Sandy Dawson; sister-in-law Shirley Dawson.
He will be truly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
