Local photographer Tina Brannon recently captured the image above of the night sky at Calhoun County Park. If you’d like to capture your own images, or just enjoy the evening with friends there is a star party tonight beginning around 8 p.m. on the first hill as you come into the park. Bring your chair, dress warm and join the star enthusiast for comet viewing! The Park will be providing binoculars and a small telescope for your viewing pleasure!
While you’re at the park, check out the progress being made on the ball field which received seed and mulch this week in preparation for spring games. The Calhoun County Park staff and volunteers put in countless hours to make our County park one of the most beautiful in the State! Just because summer’s coming to a close doesn’t stop opportunities to enjoy the Calhoun County Park.
