Caden Arnold, a 2011 graduate of Calhoun County High School, graduated from the 202nd West Virginia State Police Training Academy on Friday, April 17, 2026, in ceremonies held on the campus of West Virginia State University. The class began on January 5, 2026, with 78 anxious members, and ended on Friday, with 42 members receiving the required certification as law enforcement officers in West Virginia. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, in issuing a press release congratulating Caden and three other deputies on graduating from the Academy, made the following statement about Caden.
“A special congratulations to Deputy Caden Arnold for earning Valedictorian of the class, an outstanding achievement that reflects his dedication and hard work”.
Caden and his wife, Brook, and their three children, Danica, Seanna, and Walker, reside in Ripley, West Virginia.
