Take a look at what hard work, determination, and a whole lot of Red Devil pride can accomplish! 🏆
Over just seven weeks, our Marching Red Devils brought home an incredible 51 trophies & awards, and what a journey it was!
From 1st Place Class D at Sissonville to 2nd Place Overall Band in Class C at the Jim Kessel Invitational, finishing just two points behind 1st, these kids kept climbing the ranks and proving they could compete with bands much larger than their own.
Along the way, they earned 1st Place Percussion, Visual, Colorguard, Drum Major, and Music honors, along with awards in Overall Effect, Auxiliary, and more. They brought home top honors at Vikingfest, the Black Walnut Festival, and Riverside Review, and earned individual recognition for soloists, feature twirlers, and Miss Majorette.
And then, at their very last competition of the season, they reached the top and brought home Division 2 Grand Champions at the Jim Porter Invitational! ❤️🏆
In total, 1 Grand Champion, 1 Runner-Up Grand Champion, 2 Second Runner-Up Grand Champion, 23 First Place awards including over-all twirler, 15 Second Place awards, 6 Third Place awards, and 3 soloist awards.
Every one of these trophies represents countless hours of practice, teamwork, dedication, and heart. We are so proud of these kids, our band directors and staff, and the families and community who supported them every step of the way.
51 trophies & awards later, there’s no question that the Pride of Calhoun County has made its mark!
Small town. BIG talent. HUGE Red Devil pride! ❤️🤍🖤
