Donald Shrader, 78, of Creston, West Virginia, passed away on April 23, 2026, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born May 16, 1947, in Calhoun County, West Virginia, a son of the late Howard Shrader and Faye (Anderson) Shrader.
Donald enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He will be remembered for his love of nature and the time he shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Billy Jean Duskey, Linda Mae Shrader, and Gary Anderson; sister-in-law, Doris Shrader; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald and Jerry Shrader, and sister-in-law, Patty Anderson.
Visitation will be held on April 26, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Matheny Whited Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Cooper/Stutler Cemetery in Calhoun County, West Virginia, with Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating.
