Stacie Marie Daugherty (Smith), 55, of Grantsville/Glenville, West Virginia, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.
She was born May 30th, 1970, in Ithaca, NY.
Stacie was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend. She often took care of those around her, especially dogs and cats. She enjoyed traveling to new places, collecting dragon fly themed things and anything purple.
She is survived by her son Donovan Daugherty, her mother Terri Hartshorn, her sister Hollie Smith, one nephew and one niece. She also left behind a number of close friends and colleagues who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, father, and brother, Ronnie Smith.
Per family wishes, Stacie was cremated with no public service. The family will announce plans for a celebration of life on a later date.
