Elizabeth Susan Rockhold, 76, of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.
Born on June 5, 1949, in Ravenswood, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Lake and Ilah (Bennett) Lake.
Elizabeth was a 1969 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She enjoyed coloring, paint-by-number projects, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and for the many cherished memories she leaves behind.
She is survived by her children, Eddie (Angie) Rockhold, Bobby Rockhold, and Scott (Toni) Rockhold; her sister, Cathy Cunningham; her brother, Jimmy Lake; her grandchildren, Ihla Marie, Jaymie Daniel, and Aurora Faith; and her great-grandchildren, Scott Tenney, Thalia Tenney, and Xavier Robinson.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Lee Rockhold, and her companion of fifteen years, Roger Hardbarger.
In keeping with her wishes, Elizabeth will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.
The family has entrusted Matheny Whited Funeral Home with her final arrangements.
