Deloris DeBerry, 85, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away on September 6, 2026, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born June 1, 1941, in Ripley, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Adam Shamblin and Mary Spencer.
Deloris attended Faith Baptist Church in Vienna, West Virginia, where she was a devoted church member. She was also an avid bowler and greatly enjoyed the fellowship and friendships she made through both her church and bowling.
She is survived by her children, Rodney (Lori) DeBerry, Jeff (Stephanie) DeBerry, and Melissa (Brad) Wilcox; siblings, Floyd Shamblin and Dotty (Frank) Hayes; grandchildren, Stephanie Mehl, Johnathan (Chantae) DeBerry, Preston (Sydney) DeBerry, Megan (Kenneth) Mason, Lindsy Thomas, Asher Wilcox, and Alexis Wilcox; 19 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth, West Virginia. Funeral services will begin at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Vaught Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
