Through WVDOT’s Paint the Plow program, the Art 2,3 and 4 classes at Calhoun Middle High School took to painting an official snowplow blade that will be featured statewide for public voting—and then used on our local roads this winter. How cool is that?

Calhoun County School’s bus garage loved the idea so much that they asked for a painted plow of their own, and Calhoun students rose to the occasion with creativity and pride. Led by teacher Jesse Kargol, students Zemirah Hardman, Emma Coinon, Teigan Springston, and Clay Allison brought their talent and teamwork to both plows.

This partnership with the WV Department of Transportation helps cultivate safety, boost school spirit, and teach young drivers about safe winter driving and transportation careers. Proud of our Red Devil artists for representing Calhoun County with creativity and heart!
