Unless you’ve served in the capacity of a Festival Committee Member you likely have no concept of the work that goes in to making an event such as the Calhoun County Wood Festival happen. Months of planning comes down to long, long days, weary bodies, and tense times as things don’t always go as planned. Jim Sullivan was given the ”Spirit of the Wood Festival” award by the committee for his many years of dedication and organization of the events of the Festival.
Fellow member Judy Powell gave the award on day one of the Festival at the evening opening ceremony.
