During the Spring Fling, the 1982 Foundation will have the honor of dedicating the new swimming pool to a woman who made a real difference in the lives of many kids and swimmers in Calhoun County – Mrs. Saundra Johnson. Mrs. Johnson also served on the Town Council and as the Mayor of Grantsville. The 1982 Foundation holds those who came before us and made a way for us in great esteem. We are forever grateful. Her children Shawn Johnson-Burns Steve Johnson Kari Johnson Cupp and their friends sizable contribution is so very much appreciated. Mrs. Johnson’s love of swimming and passion for teaching swimming will live on in Calhoun County at the Saundra Johnson Community Swimming Pool.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Johnson family. We hope to see everyone come out and enjoy the very special tribute and groundbreaking ceremony!
