GLENVILLE, WV – With generous support from the Pioneer community, Glenville State University has raised a record-breaking $1.2 million from over 1,100 donors during the 2025 Founders Day of Giving, February 19, 2025.
Donations support multiple projects across campus, including each academic department and athletic team, scholarship funds, alumni and student projects, the Pioneer Fund, and the President’s Circle.
Two of Calhoun’s local Fire Departments have three new members ready to respond when duty calls. Big Daddy Ds, owned and operated by Jacob McCumbers and his family, opened for their grand opening on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.
