Barbara Jane Wilson Obituary

Barbara Jane Wilson, 73, of Big Springs, West Virginia, went to be with family, friends, and the Lord on April 28, 2025, at Glenville Center, Glenville, WV.

Barbara was born January 17, 1952, at Gassaway, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Charley and Bonnie Agnes White McCumbers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister Teresa Ann and brother Ernest James McCumbers, all of Nicut, WV.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Kent Wilson and two sons, Walter Earl and Warren Dale, also of Big Springs; and brother Jackie Lee McCumbers of Parkersburg, WV.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV, 26147, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Ken Heiney officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Interment will follow in Saunders Cemetery, Big Springs, WV. TERMS: FOUR THOUSAND 00/100 ($4,000.00) in cash and/or certified funds made payable to Joel Baker Law, PLLC, to be deposited at the time of the sale, with the remaining balance due and payable within thirty (30) days of the sale. Certified funds must be presented to the Trustee for inspection at start if sale in order to be qualified to bid.
The referenced properties will be conveyed without covenants of warranty, and subject to all covenants, restrictions, easements, rights of way, and reservations which may be a matter of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office or visible upon the ground, all prior liens and encumbrances, including, without limitation, liens for real estate taxes, incinerator, sanitary, or sewer charges.
The purchasers at the sale shall be responsible for paying the recording costs and the tax on the privilege of transferring real property (the cost of the tax stamp to be affixed to the deed), and the cost of transferring title of the Mobile Home into the name of the purchaser. The purchases shall be responsible for payment of all real estate and personal property taxes assessed thereon.

FEDERAL TAX LIENS: In the event that there are Federal Tax Liens against the property, the United States would the right to redeem the property within a period of 120 days from the date of such sale or the period allowable for redemption under local law, which is longer.
Pursuant to the Deed of Trust, the Lender shall be entitled to bid at any public sale on all or any portion of the aforesaid Property.
