Calhoun Republican Party Set to Host Lincoln Day Dinner with Secretary of State Mac Warner

Excitement builds for the Calhoun Republican Executive Committee as the Lincoln Day Dinner approaches and today, February 17th, 2023, would be the final day to purchase tickets for the event. Keynote Speaker for the evening is Andrew McCoy “Mac” Warner, West Virginia Secretary of State and Candidate for Governor in the 2024 Election.

Warner (born February 18, 1955) is an  American attorney, veteran, and the current  WV Secretary of State.  He announced his candidacy for Governor on  January 10, 2023. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and later J.D. from WVU School of Law, LL.M. from JAG School and the University of of Virginia School of Law in International Law. Warner served in the United States Army in the US Army JAC Corps. And retired from military service to become a United States Department of State contractor.  

He currently resides in Morgantown, WV and is the farther of four children who are all current Army officers. He is the brother of Kasey Warner, former US States Attorney, So. District of WV, and fellow former JAG Corps Officer.  His other brothers are Kris Warner, former chairman of the WV Republican Party, and Monty Warner the 2004 Republican candidate for WV Governor.

Several other City, County and State elected officials have sent confirmation of attendance making this a highlight of 2023 for the energized Republican Party.

The Lincoln Day Dinner will be at the Calhoun County Park on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $28.00 each wonderful company and a Grilled Filet Tuscan Steak or Baked Steak Dinner prepared by County Famed Chef’s Robin Mersh, Dennis Spaur and Aaron Spaur, with Grilled Caesar Salad, an amazing Hillbilly Crème Brulé prepared by Eric Lupardus, Tea, Coffee, and Water.
