Celebrating the ABC’s of the Class of 2024

The Senior Class of Calhoun Middle High School were given the opportunity to provide the information in this series of highlights, as an introduction to the graduating class of 2024. Some chose, their name only, others answered a few questions, but none the less we are proud as a community of each and every student who studied and did their best to become next year’s Alumni! Ridgeview News wishes only the best to every student and I’m whispering a prayer for the families as they too, start on a journey of empty nesting. God bless!!!!

Plans after graduation: I plan to go to BridgeValley this fall to get my Associate’s of Science, and then finish out a Bachelor’s at WVU Keyser. I want to be a field study biologist. I’ve always preferred animals and hope to find plenty of peace working with them in the forest daily.

Favorite quote: “In the end, one’s life is measured by those we’ve changed.” -Caustic, Apex Legends

Advice: My advice to young people is to worry less and be bold. Life gets dull when worry is all you see. Don’t confine yourself to a boring lifestyle, do what brings you joy, do things you’re passionate about. Live frivolously. Remember to be kind and thoughtful of other’s struggles, as one of my favorite quotes has taught me.

What are your plans after graduation? I plan on going to college to become a registered nurse.

Favorite quote: The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart. -Helen Keller

Advice to pass on: Don’t give up on what you love to do just because someone else tells you that you have to because no matter what you’re still going to love it even if they don’t.
