Conrad Facing Felony Charge of Driving Revoked DUI 3rd Offense

Trooper H.D. Hickman filed a complaint in the Magistrate Court of Calhoun County on April 27th, 2026 stating that on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at approximately 1:45 a.m. he was performing a road patrol on Pink Road in Calhoun County, WV when he observed a black in color, Later determined to be a Honda Victory Motorcycle, heading in the opposite direction. The driver of the motorcycle was later identified as Jason Kyle Conrad. The motorcycle was observed as not having a license plate or visual registration.

When Trooper Hickman activated his emergency lights and siren for the vehicle to stop, the accused failed to stop and continued driving off of Pink Road and into a yard near the address of 938 Pink Road. As the officer continued to follow the accused off of the roadway, Jason Conrad continued to travel and lost control of the motorcycle at 696 Pink Road, Arnoldsburg, WV.


Trooper Hickman gave clear, verbal commands for Conrad to get on the ground and put his hands behind his back at which time the accused acknowledged the command but failed to comply, with multiple verbal commands being given. Conrad also tensed up and actively resisted arrest by pulling his hands away when Trooper Hickman was attempting to detain him. During this time the officer continued to give clear, verbal commands for the accused to give the officer his hands.

When Trooper Hickman ran the accused’s identification through WVSP South Charleston Dispatch, he was informed that Jason Conrad was revoked for DUI according to the Department of Motor Vehicles files. After reviewing the accused’s criminal history, the Trooper discovered that Conrad had been convicted of Driving While License Revoked for DUI on 7/27/22 in Roane County and on 4/23/18 in Calhoun County making this incident the third or subsequent offense.

A felony warrant was requested and received for Jason Kyle Conrad for Driving Revoked for DUI 3rd offense.

Conrad was arrested on April 28th, 2026. AWOL Bail Bonding posted his $10,000 Bond. A Preliminary hearing date was set for May 14th, 2026 at 2 p.m. before Magistrate Lora Davis.
