Creston News and Commentary

Rev. Kevin Gillespie filled his regular appointment at the Burning Springs M. E. Church & served Holy Communion.

Linda Wright did not get a good report on her cancer.  She is to start treatments.

The St. Valentine’s Day steak special at Shade Tree was a wild success.  The meat was tasty like a good steak should be and many local folks had a great time.

Mousey Jackson who has a place in Creston passed away down in North Carolina.  He had been sick for quite some time,  Carl & Donna Ferrell went down there & Melissa came to help with the grandchildren.

Eli Ferrell, a scholar at the Christian school at Brooksville led the Wirt County delegation Saturday evening for the gala Lincoln Day dinner held at the Calhoun County Park.  Eli is to be a page for Speaker Roger Hanshaw in the legislature on Monday.  The meal included Calhoun County grown steak that was cooked just before the dinner by men who knew how to cook tasty food.  Puts down a marker for future Lincoln Day dinners, for sure.  Sec. of State & gubernatorial candidate Mac Warner gave an excellent talk to the substantial crowd.  It was noted that a good time was had by all & the enthusiasm for the future of Calhoun County was only positive.  Quite a bit was said about the 1982 Foundation and all that is being accomplished.

The spring flowers, crocuses, jonquils & daffodils continue to brighten the neighborhood and the amphibians continue to provide musical accompaniment to the spring gala evert which seems to be a little early.  Ramps should soon be coming up as well.

Some local folks continue to have problems concerning breathing, coughing, likely viruses, etc.  Getting cleared up seems to be an almost impossible task.  New data has come out and now it has been learned that the m-rna [messenger ribose nucleic acids] virus are now transmissible from the vaccinated to the non-vaccinated.  Sharing of bodily fluids will allow transmission of the “vaccine” which should be a “no no” and it has been determined that infants can get it from breast milk.  This means that the DNA has been modified to allow continued production of the “new product”.  Also it was ascertained that there were some “bad batches” [about 5%] of vaccine and all of those were sent to “red states”.  This was confirmed by the much higher rates of death in Kentucky, Arkansas, North Dakota, West Virginia, etc.  These were referred to as “rapid Kill lots”, a part of the UN Agency 2030 project.  Obviously, one cannot believe a word the government man says and now the ruling junta has said that the nation’s health has been turned over to WHO [World Health Organization] which has been answering only to Dictator Xi of China.  This means mandates, edicts, vaccine passports and all the government intervention in the lives of formerly free citizens.

Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, who by all rights should be the speaker, will be at the Judge Black Annex to the Wood County Court House on March 10 from 6:30 until 9 P. M.  He is there on behalf of Alex Mooney who hopes to retire Broadway Joe [or Maserati Joe as he is known as the DC swamps.]

The late Tom Quick from Wirt County was a member of the duPont Haz Mat team, a crew known for knowing their stuff.  He noted that there was a “rule of thumb” when dealing with incidents involving “methyl ethyl bad stuff.”  It worked like this for if one held out one’s thumb and you could still see the incident then you were too close.  The disaster in Ohio only continues to worsen and there is no doubt as to who to blame.  Now when snow melts in Ontario there is a rainbow sheen.  Next time when one is near a train listen for the “clunk, clunk, clunk”.  That is the sign of a worn out bearing that needs fixed.  That is what caused the hopper car loaded with plastic pellets to jump the track start getting hot.  Instead of working to get the cars back on the tracts someone said, “well just burn them all up”.  After an incident in Nitro, W. Va. in 1949 it has been known that the results of explosions and fires with plastics make dioxins.  For decades the EPA has noted that is why you should not burn plastics in one’s burn barrels as the dioxins contaminate the vegetation, the critters eat the contaminated food and the toxins build up [and do not break down].  Seens these things last “forever”.  Thus, it is clear that the area of the burn and the area where the smoke cloud moved is now all contaminated perhaps for an extended period of time.  The dimbulb governors went along and the EPA guy would have been criminally liable &, it is understood, considering the gravity of the incident, someone in the ruling junta said “Biden said it was OK”.  When asked some time later he said he “did a zoom call — something about who is zooming who”.

A black buzzard was seen at Annamoriah.  Perhaps he came over from the flock at Spencer.  Obviously, all the Spencer boys failed triggernometry class but locally Dead Eye Dick & Sure Shot Jones can resolve the problem.  The invasive black buzzards like to pick out the eyes of young calves.

The loss of Newsmax TV and One American TV has impacted local folks ability to obtain news without bias.  The official government radio, NPR, is said now to be laying off staff as the “alphabets” have picked up the slack and spout only the official dogma.  A recent example is the senile man walking in Kiev with air raid sirens going off when the ruling junta had called Vladimir to tell him what was happening and to not do anything to endanger the fictional president.  Back when he had more of his marbles he made more than a dozen visits to Ukraine where the family had many investments including the research labs.

The IRS announced that there would be 87,000 more armed men to “go after the rich” since there would be no new taxes on those making less than $400,000.  Now it seems the #1 target for these fine folks is going after waitresses to do not report all their cash tips.  Anyone know any waitresses who make over $400,000?

Henry Hub natural gas rose to $2.45/MMBTU [dekatherm] while local Pennsylvania grade crude fetched $76.32/bbl.   Condensate, formerly known as Appalachian light sweet was $59.32/bbl. with Marcellus & Utica light bringing $66.32 & medium $75.32/bbl.
