Creston News: Cold Air in WV, Hot Air in Switzerland

Local church services were again cancelled after the area received a second snow, this time several inches of the white stuff along with temperatures in the single digits or, in other words, winter weather. Al Gore Jr.’ hot air had kept the winter mild but, apparently, he & John Heintz Kerry both ran out of breath.  Both Artic ice and Antarctic ice have set new records and temperature measurements [not in urban areas] show that there is no increase in temperature.

Gore & Heintz Kerry were among those off to Switzerland for the annual WEF (World Economic Forum) gala with the best of food and the highest priced “professional ladies”.  They talked about Disease X, the new lab leak from Chairman Xi that is said to be 100% fatal in humanized mice.  There were so many private jets there that they had to be sent off to another airport for parking.  The ruling elites have some new terms now to compare with homicide and genocide [which apparently is now OK in some instances such as in China & Israel].  The new term is ecocide which is used to describe agriculture and commercial fisheries.  The ruling elites have decided that the peasants can eat bugs, “have nothing and be happy”.

Some folks had water lines that experienced phase changes and another family had a roof that, after being covered with snow, decided to spring a significant leak.

Local folks were to go down to the Mouth of the Elk for a state meeting but it was postponed until this coming weekend.

The state road folks continue to cut tree tops going up the Creston hill as such is a top priority.  Perhaps all the money was spent there as, after the first snow there were no cinders on the Blankenship hill at the head of Ann’s Run.  Obviously, the folks that handle the big $$ never intend to drive the Ann’s Road any time, let alone when snow covered in winter.

Jimmy Henthorn, age 86, died December 26 up in Ohio.  He was the son of John & Mary Baker Henthorn and the grandson of Ira & Ella Baker who for many years lived at the mouth of Pete’s Run.  Jimmy had worked in law enforcement and was the former mayor of New Lexington, Ohio.  His son-in-law. Kyle Hutson, an active duty marine, has been part of the Creston Veteran’s Day event for some time.

Debbie Griffin is recovering at home after gall bladder surgery.

A local woman, some years back, went away to seek her fortune.  Then she decided to come back to Creston to retire. She asked the wild Frontier Telephone Company for telephone service but was told, “We don’t hook up new land lines anymore!”  But, she said, “Cell phones don’t work in Creston.”  “Well, those are the rules, we can’t do that!”  The woman then called the Public Service Commission and a very nice lady there intervened and now the 275 exchange has another land line customer.

More data has become available about the messenger rna vaccines that were forced on people with almost no testing.  It seems that some vaccines were, perhaps 1% effective and now it was learned that the government had a myocarditis warming memo that was never sent.  Some want folks prosecuted for talking about the excess deaths, especially among the young that took the vaccine.  Now we learn that the USDA has approved RNA & DNA vaccines for hogs.  Obviously one needs to be sure that such meat is well cooked or one might have an overwhelming urge to start rooting through the dirt & a passionate desire to cavort with the likes of Moonbeams McSwine.

The head of CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency) said that the federal agency’s primary goal is protecting “cerebral infrastructure”, that is controlling what the peasants think or are allowed to think.

A recent study revealed that there are more fossil fuels on Saturn’s moon Titan than are found on the earth.  Some wonder where were the fossils that made all those hydrocarbons.  One local fellow doesn’t remember a discussion about such when he took organic chemistry class.

Folks are reminded that there in only one week left to file for elected office.

It was learned that the ruling junta has been keeping track of the population to spot those who might be considered “domestic terrorists”.  Transactions that involved the words MAGA, Trump, purchases of  Bibles and visits to Cabelas were all considered worthy of investigation by the ruling elite.  Some may remember the jokes about “you might be a redneck if . . . .”  Now the government considers you an enemy of the state if . . .

Rick Tucker was attending to business in Elizabeth and then, over the weekend, Marilyn was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Ford was reported to have cut back on the production of EV F-150 trucks because of a lack of sales.  It was reported that EV owners found that in very cold weather their chariots would not charge.  So much for the reliable transportation claim.

Natural gas prices remain low but when the cold snap hit the price at the Eastern Gas South hub jumped from $2.45 to $10.40.  Of course this jump would have no impact on prices paid small producers and royalty owners.

It was reported that Ohio & Pennsylvania now have 39 gas fired power plants while West Virginia has zero.  Anyone awake down at the Mouth of the Elk?

A federal judge said he was going to resolve the Jim Justice helicopter that the Russian coal company wants to take on sums owed for coal royalties that were not paid.  It is also understood that it is only a matter of time before Carter Bank has to act to collect what is owed them.  Credit Suisse, now defunct, apparently has given up on the $800 million owed by the governor who, apparently, has a deal with Broadway Joe to look after in the DC swamps the interests of our rulers. If Big Jim gets to be senator there can be a seamless transition of power as Larry Puccio works for both men.

The price of local Pennsylvania grade crude is $72.41/bbl. with condensate, formerly called Appalachian light sweet, brings $54.41/bbl. while Marcellus & Utica light was $63.41 and medium $72.41/bbl.
