Antero reported that their new five well dry gas pad is making 125 million cubic feet/day and shows no sign of decline and that recovery will be 2 billion cubic feet/1000 feet of lateral. One new well is 24,000 long on a lease the firm obtained from HG. The firm states that their total production is 4.1 bcfe/day. [billion cubic feet equivalent = includes liquids, oil, et.]. Antero, based in Denver, indicated they were getting dry gas for use to supply AI data centers.
Expand Energy noted that their production is 4.3 bcfe/day and they are now paying a bonus of $5,000/acre in Pennsylvania.
Slicksters are trying to pick up oil & gas acreage in Gilmer County on the cheap. One outfit offered to pay $1,500/acre to purchase while at the same time a lease broker offered a $4,500/acre lease bonus for the same tract but the offered lease has some poison pills.
