BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Softball added three Pioneers to the All-MEC Second Team today, with Emily Nolan, Kylee Goodman and Shelby McDaniels earning All-Conference honors, the league announced today.
Nolan, who fully took over catching duties in 2026, started 50 games for GSU and hit .344 with a .912 OPS, three home runs, 10 doubles and 29 RBIs. The McDonald, Pa. native had 11 games of two or more hits, while also flashing the leather behind the dish with a .995 fielding percentage and just one error in 220 chances.
Goodman, a senior out of Waynesburg, Pa., is now a two-time All-MEC recipient after making First Team in 2025. The Pioneers hot corner protector started 41 games this season, batting .237 with four doubles and 13 RBIs in the box. She’s been one of the league’s top third baseman for years and she showed that once again in 2026, recording a fielding percentage of nearly .950.
McDaniels, a four-year starter for the Pioneers in the outfield, had an electric senior campaign with a .329 average, .875 OPS, 52 hits (leads team), 19 doubles (leads team, top 3 in MEC), 29 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. The Buckhannon-Upshur High School product started all 52 games and 12 multi-hit games, with five of those coming in the first eight games of the season.
Zailees Seda, Maci Boggess and Kylie Burdick earned All-MEC First Team honors, bringing the total of Pioneers who made All-Conference in 2026 to six.
