Grand Jury Returns 10 Indictments

In the May term of Calhoun Circuit Court for the Grand Jury, the following indictments were returned:

2. Robby F. Lamp- Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited person x3, Possession of a controlled substance x2
3. Doy G. Hannah, Jr.- Driving on a Revoked License for DUI-Third Offense
4. Jessica L. Carpenter- Wanton Endangerment, Domestic Assault (a Misdemeanor)
5. Tommy J. Newell- Entry of Building other than Dwelling, Petit Larceny (a Misdemeanor)
6. Zachary E. Freshour- Strangulation, Domestic Battery 2nd Offense (a Misdemeanor), Interfering with ER Communication (a Misdemeanor)
7. Abby Sutphin- Child Neglect creating Risk of Serious Bodily Injury or Death x2, DUI with Unemancipated Minor (a Misdemeanor)
8. Allen C. Swisher- Sexual Abuse in 1st Degree
9. James F. Blankenship,II- Malicious Assault, Possession of a Firearm by Prohibited Person (a Misdemenaor), Domestic Battery (a Misdemeanor)
10. Otis D. Smith- Manufacturing a Controlled Substance (marijuana)
