SPENCER, WV — On Saturday, November 7th, wrestling fans from all across WV and surrounding states will make their way to the Armory on Main Street in Spencer for Rt33W LIVE, Route 33 Wrestling’s 36th live professional wrestling event.
What makes this particular event stand out from Rt33W’s other events is its theme: “Finery & Foolery.”
“Last year, our Halloween event was masquerade ball-themed,” explained The Boss Lady, owner and director of Route 33 Wrestling. “This year, we want to give people the chance to wear something they haven’t had much of an opportunity to show off on a regular basis.
So, what is the dress code, exactly? Anything goes, as long as it is family-friendly. Have an old graduation cap and gown collecting dust in your closet? Wear it! A wedding dress you’ve only worn once? Come show it off! Footie pajamas? Fair game! Or maybe you just want to mix and match something wacky… November 7th is the time to do it!
“Of course, classic Halloween costumes are also welcome,” The Boss Lady added.
The November event will bring the return of several crowd favorites, including Caleb Throne, Liberty L, Gary Gandy, and Titan Troy, who recently recovered from an unprovoked surprise attack from Ken Jenkins and Travis Durton. There are also two major title defenses scheduled.
The Armory doors open on Saturday, November 7th at 6:00 PM with a 7:00 PM bell time. Tickets are limited and can be purchased in advance through Route 33 Wrestling’s Facebook page, at Groves Auto Service in Arnoldsburg, or at the City of Spencer Waterworks Office. Tickets will also be sold at the door starting at 6:00 PM on November 7th. Kids 5 and under enter free!
