
On Friday, December 27, 2024, at approximately 3:40 p.m. Deputy J.B. Hunt was at the residence of Alan and Debra Smith at 11337 Altizer Road. Deputy Hunt was conversing with the aforementioned residents from his patrol vehicle parked at their residence facing south. The officer observed an ATV traveling south toward his location and that the operator of this ATV was Zebadiah Hamrick, the accused, who
the undersigned officer had prior knowledge of his WV operators being suspend / revoked.
Deputy Hunt executed a traffic stop on the red in color 2005 Yamaha Kodiak as it passed by his patrol vehicle.
A check via radio advised that the accused operator’s license was revoked for DUI on 12-27-2022.
Deputy Hunt issued the accused a misdemeanor citation for driving while revoked for DUI. Then upon further investigation, Deputy Hunt discovered that the accused WV operators was
suspended for unpaid citations and that he had two prior convictions for driving while suspended misc. Deputy Hunt voided the aforementioned misdemeanor citation for driving while revoked for DUl prior to this criminal complaint.
On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at approximately 2:11 a.m. Deputy Hunt and Calhoun Sheriff, G. J. Knight, responded to 11493 Altizer Road reference the accused operating this same ATV at this residence, an old farm house that had recently been broken into. Both Allen and Debra Smith advised they had observed the accused operate this ATV prior the undersigned officers’ arrival. The above mentioned offense for driving while suspend misc occurred in Calhoun County WV.
Zebadiah Hamrick was arrested on September 3rd, 2025 for Driving Supsended Revoked 3rd offense and taken to WV Central Regional Jail where he currently awaits trial. Bond was set at $3,000.
Mr. Hamrick is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
