We will have several vendors who will be set up to provide you with information, and answer questions you may have about services. I encourage you to take the time to speak with them. These wonderful people get up real early to come from all over to share information with our community.

CCCOA- SHIP Counselor- one-on-one assistance to Medicare beneficiaries, families, and caregivers, helping with Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, plan comparisons, and cost-saving programs.

Minnie Hamilton Healthcare System (MHHS) is a Critical Access Hospital and Federally Qualified Health Center that provides a wide range of comprehensive medical, dental, and community health services, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Key services provided by MHHS include Medical and Clinical Services Family Medicine: Primary care, wellness checks, immunizations, and chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension) for all ages. Emergency Room: 24/7 emergency care with Level IV Trauma Designation and ARK (Always Ready for Kids) certification. Women’s Health: Annual exams, Pap smears, and family planning. Wound Care: Specialized, aggressive treatment for non-healing wounds. Infusion Therapy: Antibiotics, iron infusions, blood transfusions, and biologic medications. Acute & Long-Term Care: Inpatient care, observation, and long-term nursing home units. Cardiopulmonary: Respiratory therapy, including CPAP/BiPAP management and pulmonary function tests. Specialized and Support Services Behavioral Health & Substance Use: Counseling and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including the Comprehensive Opioid Addiction Treatment (COAT) program. Dentistry: Oral health care services. Rehabilitation Services: Physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Radiology & Lab: Diagnostic imaging (X-ray) and 24/7 laboratory services. School-Based Health: Clinics that provide care to students, including physicals, immunizations, and mental health referrals. Social Services: Assistance with care coordination, crisis intervention, and navigating insurance or financial aid. MHHS accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and offers a sliding fee scale for eligible patients.

Minnie Hamilton Health System (MHHS) Dental Clinic- offers comprehensive, family-friendly dental care including preventive hygiene, restorative fillings, root canals, dentures, crowns, and emergency dental treatments. They provide services regardless of the ability to pay, often using a sliding fee scale. Comprehensive Dental Services Offered: Preventive & Oral Hygiene Care: Routine checkups, cleanings, and education to maintain oral health. Restorative Treatments: Fillings, crowns, and bridges to repair teeth. Endodontics: Root canal therapy to treat infected teeth. Periodontics: Treatment of gum disease. Oral Surgery: Extractions and other necessary surgical procedures. Prosthodontics: Dentures and partial dentures. Emergency Care: Urgent dental services for pain or infection. School-Based Services: Dental services specifically provided in Calhoun County schools.

DART- Domestic Abuse Response Team- providing support to victims of Domestic Abuse. Identifying the most suitable next steps for victims, with follow-up support.

Happy Ears Audiology (MOV)- is a mobile audiology clinic serving rural communities in Southeast Ohio and Western West Virginia. Providing hearing healthcare—including testing, fitting, and repairs—directly to patients’ homes or community locations, aiming to remove transportation barriers.

Take Me Home Transition Program- A transition program to identify Medicaid members living in long-term care facilities (such as nursing homes) who wish to live in the community and help them do so; and, a rebalancing program through which states make system-wide changes to their State’s long-term care systems to enhance home and community-based service options for Medicaid beneficiaries.

Captain Call- a federally funded service providing no-cost captioned telephones and mobile apps for people with hearing loss who need to read what callers say. Using advanced voice recognition and, at times, captioning agents, it displays real-time text on a large, adjustable screen. It works like a regular phone, featuring Bluetooth connectivity and adjustable audio settings to enhance communication for those with hearing loss.

Aetna- Analyze a client’s health needs, budget, and provider network to recommend suitable coverage and assist with the enrollment process.

Visions- provides customized, one-on-one training, low-tech assistive technology, home safety assessment, and support networks to help seniors remain independent in their communities. In-Home Training: Specialized instructors travel to the home, church, or community center to teach coping strategies for vision loss and safety techniques. Instruction in adaptive techniques for cooking, cleaning, reading mail, and daily tasks. Provision of tools like braille slates, magnifying items, talking color detectors, money identifiers, and large print keyboards. Travel training to safely navigate the home and community. Assistance with coping strategies regarding vision loss and connecting with other individuals experiencing similar challenges. Linking seniors to community resources, social services, and other supportive services.

Talking Books- a free, federally funded service providing audiobooks and specialized playback equipment to residents with visual, physical, or reading disabilities that prevent them from reading standard print. Delivered via mail, these full-length, unabridged books come on digital cartridges, with options for Braille and digital downloads.

MOVHD- public health services, including clinical care, environmental health inspections, and community health programs to Calhoun, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood counties. Core services include immunizations, cancer screenings, STI testing, WIC nutrition programs, and food safety training. Clinical Services Vaccines: Adult and child immunizations, including Hepatitis B and Mpox. Screenings: Cancer screenings (cervical/breast), BCCSP & WISEWOMAN programs, and routine lab work. Sexual Health: Confidential HIV testing, STD testing, and birth control methods (pills, condoms, shots). Other: Tuberculosis (TB) testing, and children’s oral health screenings/varnish. Environmental Health Food Safety: Food Handler training, permitting, and inspections for restaurants, schools, and temporary food stands. Water Safety: Water well permitting, site evaluation, and bacteriological sampling. Inspections: Surveillance of public facilities, including daycares, swimming pools, and mobile home parks.

Westbrook Health Services provides comprehensive behavioral health, addiction recovery, and intellectual/developmental disability support in West Virginia. Services include outpatient therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), 24/7 crisis stabilization, residential housing, and psychiatric medication management. Key Services Offered: Addiction Recovery Services (MAT): Treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction using Suboxone, Vivitrol, Sublocade, and Brixadi. Mental Health Treatment: Outpatient counseling, therapy (cognitive behavioral, family, couples), and psychiatric management for children, adults, and seniors. Crisis Services: A Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) for acute care, detoxification, and a Quick Response Team (QRT) for overdose follow-ups. Residential & Housing: Supported living and group homes for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI). Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services: Behavioral support, case management, and IDD crisis response units. Community Engagement: Programs focused on helping individuals with mental illness live independently in their communities. Westbrook operates in eight counties, including locations in Parkersburg, Ritchie County, and Roane County. They serve individuals regardless of their ability to pay, accepting Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.
