Jackie Lee Bishop, 73, of Arnoldsburg, died Sunday, December 10, 2023, at home.
He was born June 21, 1950, at Beech, the son of the late Edgar William and Millie Ann Falls Bishop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a daughter, Michelle Bishop Justice; brother, Bill Bishop; and sister, Linda Faye Bishop.
Jackie was a retired equipment operator and a former member of the I.U.O.E., Local 132, Charleston.
His pastimes included vegetable gardening and coon hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Loretta Jane Cottrell Bishop; grandsons, Alan (Michelle) Bailey of Gandeeville and Coy (Cassi) Bailey of Frametown; four grandchildren, Brantlee, Hunter, Camry and Carson Bailey; three step grandchildren, Sam and Hannah Tanner, and Ally Dobbins; sister, Florence Bishop of Mt. Zion; brother, Fred Bishop of Arnoldsburg.
The family has honored his request for cremation. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced later.
