James D. Hardman (Jim), 82, passed away August 16, 2026, at CAMC Memorial surrounded by his wife and daughter.
Jim was born December 11, 1943, to parents Alfred George Hardman and Ruby Pearl Wilcox in Gilmer County, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Hardman, 2 sons Jamie Hardman and Michael Hardman and his daughter Connie Hardman Hannah. He is also survived by multiple grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
Jim enjoyed watching westerns, shooting guns, doing crossword puzzles, going to the family farm, wood carving and spending time with his family. He worked in timber cutting trees and driving a log truck for 38 years.
Per Jim’s request there will be no services.
