Cpl. Jeffrey Hunt retired from the West Virginia State Police with 25 years of service the last of December 2023. He did not let the grass grow beneath his feet, accepting the position as Chief Deputy for the Calhoun County Sheriffs Department, trading his traditional greens for the black and gray.
Chief Hunt began his official duties following a swearing in ceremony by Calhoun County Clerk, Jean Simers on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.
