
After a long fulfilling life Joseph Leroy Langford passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 82, in Glenville WV on Bee Tree Hollow WV. Surrounded by his loving family, and faithful cat Paws.
He was born on June 8, 1943, the son of the late Harry and Erma (White) Langford.
He served with great honor in the US Army from 1964-1967 serving in the Vietnam War from 1966-1967.
After serving his country he worked at several locations in Glenville, WV, before moving to Ohio. Residing in Lagrange OH, working at Ceilcote Factory retiring in 2014 with 47 years of dedicated service.
After retiring in 2014 he moved back to his home in WV, that he built with his own hands.
Leroy is a Christian by faith and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, traveling and relaxing on his front porch overlooking his pond observing the wildlife.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Edna (Moulder) Langford residing at the home they built together.
Survived by 2 sons Joseph (Danielle) Langford of AZ, Thomas (Susan) Osborne of WV. Grandchildren Cody (Jenn) Osborne of OH. Dylan (Angela) Osborne of OH, Zachary Songer of OH. Great Grand Children Jessica and Oaklee. One sister Barbara (Langford) Marks. 2 nephews JJ (Lenora) Marks of WV, Justin Marks of WV. One great niece Autumn Marks of WV, one nephew Jesse Marks IV of OK. One very special lifelong friend Tom Osborne. Along with several special cousins and dear friends.
Along with his parents Harry and Erma, Leroy was welcomed to his heavenly home by infant daughter, Jo Lynn Weidrick, grandson, Trevor Weidrick, and brother in-law, Jesse Marks Jr.
