Here were go again the robber barons are about to rape West Virginia land owners again!
This time they wish to take our land and its value in an effort to line their coffers again. The “Valley North” line will run through some of the most beautiful land and way of life left in West Virginia to send power to Virginia with no benefits to the people of West Virginia… with our citizens footing the bill through the loss of property value and higher electricity costs.
I AM ASKING FOR OUR LOCAL AND STATE OFFICIALS TO STAND UP and against this Valley project and support the well being of our West Virginia values… this project has no benefits for the people of our state… only broken promises and abuse of the citizens of Calhoun County and our neighboring Counties. We must stand together and stop the theft of our wealth. They took our timberland our natural gas and coal resources and the local people are about to be robbed again… all for the wealth of people who don’t even live here. What little wealth we have is now in jeopardy and when that is stolen where will we turn were will you turn!? They want to take or pay you little for the land that they take while their project depletes the remainder of your homes value to zero… along with your whole life’s sweat tears and equity.
Don’t forget nobody wants to live anywhere near these power lines!
For many people, their children and grandchildren’s wealth will be decimated… for many people that is a life time of hard work.
I just learned of this project I will respond with more as this sinks in. Not everyone will be affected but please stand up for your fellow neighbors you could be next and you ..in turn, may need the support from your fellow
Calhouniens.
Look up the “Valley North” power line proposal.
I’m late to the game I just found out about the project on June 25th and only because my neighbor was given a map of the proposed route. There is a time limit to comment on the project.
Meeting at Calhoun Highschool July 22nd to voice any concerns to the companies involved. May also be a good time to voice your concerns about your utility bill rate increases… just saying.

Valley North transmission line update.
While hiking with the dog I was also listening to the news when I heard country music star John Rich say he has been appointed “Special Envoy” for the USDA to support people who are facing possible confiscation of their property by large entities and eminent domain. Mr Rich emphasized that it was his mission and that of the USDA to help and protect people in situations like what we are facing with the Valley North transmission line through West Virginia to Northern Virginia.
Mr. Rich was emphatic that they are there to help and indeed would help… put their word to the test.

Remember local meeting at the Highschool July 22nd.
Don’t forget the Public Service Commission and the Governor’s Office.
