The Calhoun County Board of Education recognized four teachers at the April 3rd, 2025 meeting have nominated for Teacher of the Year 2025-2026. Although the participation wasn’t what I would consider great on the voter’s poll for the Mid Term election, only time will tell if this will be a predictor of outcome or if it stirs the parties to support their candidates, but either way I feel it was a worthwhile effort.
