
Michael Charles Sabatino, 65, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away September 1, 2026, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.
Michael was born October 26, 1960, in Belpre, Ohio, a son of the late Alfredo M. and Eva Maxine (Taylor) Sabatino.
Throughout his life, Michael worked at Gatewood, Little Kanawha Nursery, and Mustang Survival in Elizabeth.
Michael was an artist and enjoyed playing and listening to music. He also enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and participating in Civil War reenactments. Michael had a great passion for model trains and was an avid collector, buyer, and builder of them. Most of all, Michael loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them.
He is survived by three daughters, Bryanna Sabatino, Jacquee Sabatino, and Miranda Sabatino; his siblings, Jeff Sabatino, Pat Sabatino, and Tina (Rodney) Null; nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Hatfield.
In accordance with Michael’s wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at Freeport Cemetery in Freeport, West Virginia, at a later date.
