Mt. Zion Public Service District (PSD) is aware of an issue involving two lift stations in the Arnoldsburg area. The matter has been reported to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP), and Mt. Zion PSD is actively working to resolve the situation.
A pump truck is currently in route and will be pumping throughout the night.
A third-party contractor is scheduled to be on-site tomorrow to address mechanical failures involving three pumps at the affected stations. To help offset these unexpected repair costs, Mt. Zion PSD has applied for special emergency funding through the Governor’s Office.
