Paul Douglas Lewellen, 60 of Tanner, WV; departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was born December 21, 1964 in Detroit, MI; son of the late Collum Lewellen and Bettie (Peeler) Lewellen Shanahan.
Paul was a life long tool and die maker, who enjoyed classic cars, shooting guns at the rifle range, he was an avid collector of many things, and loved living the quiet life in West Virginia.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Teresa Bailey (Bill) of Plymouth, MI; and Carol Ryba (Kevin) of Novi MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with his mother (Bettie) and his father (Collum), Paul is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Randy Lewellen, and his step-father, Thomas Shanahan.
Paul’s request for cremation has been honored and a memorial service will be conducted in his home state of Michigan at a later date.
