Glenville, West Virginia – The Pioneer Shooting Club at Glenville State University proudly announced today their donation of $1000 to the First Baptist Church Cancer Fund in Glenville. This generous contribution stems from the proceeds raised during last Fall’s Breast Cancer Awareness Art Auction hosted by the club.
Breast Cancer Awareness has been a cause close to the hearts of many within the Glenville community, and the Pioneer Shooting Club saw an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through their annual event. The Breast Cancer Awareness Art Auction, held in October 2023, gathered support from across campus and beyond, drawing attention to the importance of early detection and treatment.
The donation was formally presented to representatives from the First Baptist Church Cancer Fund during a ceremony at Glenville State University, attended by members of the Pioneer Shooting Club, university officials, and community leaders. The event served as a testament to the power of collaboration and community support in addressing important issues such as breast cancer awareness and research.
The Pioneer Shooting Club at Glenville State University remains committed to giving back to the community and lo oks forward to continuing their support for important causes in the future.
