Rocky K. Jamison, 69 of Sand Fork, WV; (Stouts Mills community) departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Friday, February 20, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born August 15, 1956 in Valparaiso, FL; son of the late Paul and Anita Ruth (Childers) Jamison.
Rocky spent most of his working life as a driver in the trucking industry and spent much of his time driving for MTB Trucking. In his spare time, Rocky enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, spending time at the beach, and caring for his 9 dogs.
Surviving is a daughter, Danielle Hayes, grandchildren, Matthew Donica and Samatha Ramirez, and great-grandchildren, Morningstar and Riahara Donica.
Also surviving are 4 siblings, Kent W. Jamison, Beverly R. Blosser, Ila L. Pope and Marcella J. Jamison, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Rocky is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Anita.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 2:00 PM; Saturday, February 28, 2026 with Rev. Paul W. Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Dusk Camp United Methodist Cemetery near Sand Fork. Friends and family will gather from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM; Saturday at the mortuary in Glenville.
