Susan Quinn Lilly, 66, from Glenville, WV departed this life into Glory with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 16th, 2026 surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Uniontown, PA to James and Sara Glisan, Susan was a 1977 graduate of Uniontown high school and a 1984 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She would go on to serve the Gilmer County Board of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist, using her love of people to give the gift of communication. She also served the congregation of Glenville Presbyterian Church as an elder and clerk where her desserts were always enjoyed after services.

Susan will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to everyone she met. Even while hospitalized, she made sure to remember every nurse, aide, and housekeeper’s name who walked through her door. Susan had an uncanny ability to see other’s needs and meet those needs without hesitation. She was a true reflection of Jesus’ love and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her siblings, Karen (Tedd) Sloan, Janis (Greg) Dayton, Roy (Eileen) Glisan, Eric Glisan and Amy (Mark) Rafail along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, James and Sara Glisan; her in-laws, Jesse and Anne Lilly; special aunt Dorothy Quinn Mosier; brother Gary Glisan; sisters Joyce Morshauser and Jill Ann Glisan; niece Melanie Huhn and grandson Lazarus Whitlock.

The Lilly family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Glenville Presbyterian Church, Susan’s Bible study group, along with many friends and family for the countless meals, cards, childcare and prayers provided to their family over the last few months as they have cared for Susan.
