Teresa Stutler Starcher, 67, of Creston, West Virginia, gained her angel wings on the morning of Monday, August 25, 2025. She is no longer confined to the wheelchair, dancing on the streets of gold with family and friends who were waiting for her. Teresa was known for her love for her horses Dagwood, Belle, and Patchy, as well as writing her stories and singing.
Teresa was born August 16, 1958, the youngest child of the late William and Midge Vandale Stutler. In addition to her parent, Teresa is preceded in death by her siblings Betty Whited, Pearl Maze, and Billy Stutler.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Starcher; Lily Mitchell; brothers Harold and Delmas Stutler; sisters Patsy Francis and Mearle Hughes; and lots of family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Teresa will be missed by all that loved her.
A funeral service to honor Teresa’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market Street, Grantsville, WV 26147, with Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Cooper Cemetery, Annamoriah, WV.
