Due to the predicted rains, the Calhoun Republican Executive Committee made the tough decision to cancel their Annual Lincoln Day Dinner.
Although a great night of food and entertainment with Johnny Staats and the Cossin Brothers was planned, the risk of heavy rains and flooding felt like too much of a risk for many traveling from other counties as well as inside Calhoun.
The Committee, though sad to cancel tonight’s event, are looking forward to the planning of another great event when the weather is better.
