The 1982 Foundation and the Ridgeview News is encouraging County participation in their Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m.at the Calhoun County Community Center. It is hoped that candidates as well as currently elected officials will make themselves available to the community for questions and concerns.
The rising interest in political endeavors has captured the attention of not only media but community from school age to senior citizens and in between who have discovered that their future opportunities are not guaranteed with the current leadership. They’ve taken action in the form of both a social media presence and strategic planning including the Town Hall which is an organized effort to encourage productive conversation.
The 82 Foundation and the Ridgeview News hopes to see a large audience at Saturday’s event.
