PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – WATER NOTICE
Due to elevated chlorine levels in the municipal water system, residents are advised NOT to drink the water until further notice.
At this time:
- Do not drink the water • Do not use it for cooking, making ice, or brushing teeth
- Bottled water should be used for all consumption purposes. The Town is actively working to correct the issue and will provide updates as soon as the water is safe for consumption.
We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding while this matter is being addressed.

According to a notification from the Pleasant Hill and Mt. Zion PSD’s social media site, the issue occurred due to an equipment failure in the Grantsville Water Plant causing the Chlorine to be pushed out at a high rate.
I bet they wish they had hired someone who could run the place right about now
