Calhoun Control dispatched the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department, Calhoun EMS, Westfall’s Wrecker Service and the Calhoun Sheriff’s Department to a single vehicle accident on Altizer Road, Arnoldsburg on Thursday Evening. There were no injuries reported but Sheriff Warrenm Basnett arrested the vehicle driver Roger Ray Philips for DUI.
A number of local folks took in the Wood Festival in Grantsville. Charles Russell who is in the Minnie Hamilton Extended Care unit was in the parade. A lot more first cutting hay has been laid down.
