William Donzel “Billy” DeWeese, 86, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Braxton Health Care Center, Sutton, WV.
He was born January 18, 1940, at Chloe, WV, a son of the late Donzel and Nancy Jane “Kate” Hunt DeWeese. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles.
He is survived by his son Jason DeWeese of North Carolina; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and sister Carol Siers of Chloe, WV. He is also survived by his great caregivers Mike and Karen Moore.
Billy very hard worker. He worked at the cattle stock market for 29 years. He loved the great outdoors and to deer hunt.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Moore Cemetery, Beech Road, Chloe, WV, with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating.
