
GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Women’s Basketball has been tabbed 6th in the first official Atlantic Regional Rankings, the NCAA announced.
The Lady Pioneers, who clinched a share of the Mountain East Conference Regular Season title last night against Charleston in an 87-66 victory inside the Waco Center, are now (21-5) overall with all 21 wins coming against regional opponents. Glenville State has accumulated non-conference wins over Salem (twice), Kutztown, West Chester, Slippery Rock and UVA Wise, with four of those victories coming away from the Waco Center.
Third-year head coach Emily Stoller has the Lady Pioneers as the highest-rated MEC squad in the rankings, with Fairmont State (7th), Concord (9th) and Charleston (10th) also making an appearance. The PSAC features four teams while the CIAA has the remaining two.
