Women’s Basketball Tabbed 6th in Atlantic Region Rankings

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Women’s Basketball has been tabbed 6^th in the first official Atlantic Regional Rankings, the NCAA announced.

The Lady Pioneers, who clinched a share of the Mountain East Conference Regular Season title last night against Charleston in an 87-66 victory inside the Waco Center, are now (21-5) overall with all 21 wins coming against regional opponents. Glenville State has accumulated non-conference wins over Salem (twice), Kutztown, West Chester, Slippery Rock and UVA Wise, with four of those victories coming away from the Waco Center.

Third-year head coach Emily Stoller has the Lady Pioneers as the highest-rated MEC squad in the rankings, with Fairmont State (7^th), Concord (9^th) and Charleston (10^th) also making an appearance. The PSAC features four teams while the CIAA has the remaining two.
