Craig Arthur Sworn in by Judge Anita Ashley as Newest County Commissioner

Craig Arthur, Republican, was sworn into office for the position of Calhoun County Commissioner by Judge Anita Harold Ashley on Tuesday morning, December 13, 2022, between cases on a very busy day in Circuit Court. Friends and family came to observe the event which was followed by a Republican Executive Committee celebration at Grinder’s on Main Street in Grantsville. Arthur changed the dynamics of the Commission from a Democrat majority to the now 2 to 1 Republican majority.
